Michele Hislop has worked in the alternative healthcare field for over 15 years, focusing on stress management, self-care and the body~mind connection. She loves helping her clients implement and practice techniques that can increase vitality, create healthier habits, and improve life satisfaction. As a Body~Mind health coach at Recreate Balance, Michele knows healthy lifestyle choice help her clients prevent future health problems, deal with stress in a positive way, and improve overall quality of life.
Michele understands the emotional and physical impacts of unhealthy behaviors and uses Motivational Interviewing as a platform to teach client-centered behavior change. Coaching sessions with Michele empower her clients to make progress on wellness changes that fit into their life and support their values and beliefs.
Michele earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Studies from Marylhurst University. She has held a state certification for peer support, and is a certified health & wellness coach. Michele believes we all want to age gracefully, with optimal health and vitality. She loves helping her clients thrive, become empowered, and teaches them to be self-aware, accountable and inspired to achieve wellness.
