Michele Hislop has worked in the alternative healthcare field for over 14 years, focusing on stress management, self-care and the body~mind connection. She loves helping her clients implement and practice techniques that can increase vitality, create healthier habits, and improve life satisfaction. As a Body~Mind health coach at Recreate Balance, Michele knows healthy lifestyle choice help her clients prevent future health problems, deal with stress in a positive way, and improve overall quality of life.
Michele understands the emotional and physical impacts of unhealthy behaviors and uses Motivational Interviewing as a platform to teach client-centered behavior change. Coaching sessions with Michele empower her clients to make progress on wellness changes that fit into their life and support their values and beliefs.
Michele earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Studies from Marylhurst University. She has held a state certification for peer support, and is a certified health and wellness coach. Michele believes we all want to age gracefully, with optimal health and vitality. She loves helping her clients thrive, become empowered, and teaches them to be self-aware, accountable and inspired to achieve wellness.
